Destruction. Spurs were flying high entering the midweek, coming off of two consecutive league wins. But a trip to Chelsea proved difficult, as the league leading Blues annihilated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0. Spurs were undone by being outclassed all over the pitch, although the likes of Harry Kane, Nabil Bentaleb, and Ben Davies showed themselves fairly well. Losing to the league leaders away is hardly a shocking loss, but can Spurs bounce back in a crucial home bout?
In the way today is an arrival from Crystal Palace, currently sitting 15th in the table and one point above the relegation places. Palace has been hampered by a poor defense, allowing 23 goals in 14 games so far. Palace does have threats though, as Mile Jedinak has been a standout in center midfield, while Jason Puncheon, Marouane Chamakh, and Frazier Campbell are attacking players to watch. Can Palace take crucial points away from Spurs at home?
As for the Prediction League, Caley and Ben stay on top by predicting Spurs' loss to Chelsea. The rules remain the same in the Prediction League -- one point for a correct prediction and a bonus point for getting the score correct. Here are the current standings:
