Wednesday Morning Hoddle Of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur News And Links For February 12, 2014

TheRoosevelts gets personal with the metaphors.

Shaun Botterill

Happy Spursday, Spursland! Newcastle are basically the team that makes you remember that things could be way worse. I mean, we have done a fair amount of complaining about this season, but really, it's been pretty good. It could be worse.

We could be Newcastle.

Perspective, gang. For example, during those times when I feel like my life is a mess and I am spinning out of control, I sit back and watch an episode of Cops and then I know it really isn't that bad. I could be the guy in the white tank top saying "what crack?" to the nice officer.

And now the "news"

Sherwood Critical Of De Boer- Sky Sports

TIm Sherwood very quickly developed a reputation as a man who said all the right things to the media then today happened and he tossed it all right out the window. He sounds more insecure giving these comments than I was in sixth grade when I wanted to get little Jenny to like me so instead of asking her what she was attracted to, I got all fancy and asked her what turned her off. No, it didn't end well and I would hazard that more comments like this from Tim won't go well either.

Spurs Need Liverpool To Falter, Says Sherwood- BBC

Good lord, he just kept going with the bad quotes. This is almost as bad as the time when I told the Microwave I loved her after like 3 weeks. Was it true? Yes (or maybe I am an emotional mess that doesn't understand real feelings). Was it a terrible idea to say out loud? You bet your ass.

Fan Goes Insane Over Getting Iniesta's Training Shirt Tossed To Her- SB Nation Soccer

Did it have a hotel name and room number along with a time his wife was sure not to call written on it?

Shawn White Fails To Medal In Halfpipe- SB Nation

I could write 1,000 words on why I am happy bout this, but lets leave it with "I watched the entirety of NBC's pre-Olympics Shawn White training documentary and he didn't deserve to win shit."
