Tottenham Hotspur vs. Everton: Lineups and Match Thread

Come chat with us for today's season-deciding match against the Toffees. Remember the iron law of Bill and Ted and be excellent to each another.

Chris Brunskill

So it happens today. Not a lot to say, we all know how massive this match is as both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton look to stay in the race for the Champions League places.

Spurs start with only wide wide player in Aaron Lennon, probably in a 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 with Eriksen nominally left wing. All the central midfielders today. Jermain Defoe makes the bench for his last match with Spurs. Andros Townsend and Younes Kaboul both have returned to partial fitness as well.

With Romelu Lukaku out, James Naismith once again steps in to play central striker. Everton have a crazy wealth of attacking options on the bench if he doesn't work there.

Kickoff is 1:30 local time. It is carried on Sky Sports 1 in the UK, and it will be on the USA Network in the states. (NBC Sports Network will be playing the winter olympics.) Both NBC and Sky provide streaming options for subscribers to watch the game. It's probably also on television in many, many other countries.
