Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose are back to full fitness, thankfully.

Amongst Tim Sherwood's quotes that were either terrifying or comforting, depending on your position regarding his potential continued employment, the Tottenham Hotspur manager also spoke about fitness issues heading into Thursday's UEFA Europa League game against Benfica. There are two returning players, as well as some injury news to report.

Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose are both back in full training and should make the 18-man squad for the game, though I'd prefer to see them get run-outs as subs, then start the North London derby. Mousa Dembele is a doubt, but could potentially be fit for the game, or at least the weekend. Michael Dawson's injury isn't bad, but he's out Thursday and against Arsenal.

Vlad Chiriches, Erik Lamela and Etienne Capoue are still out. Here are Sherwood's exact words from the official team site.

"Danny has trained for two or three days now. We've got him back quickly after he went off against Norwich and he's not lost that much training ... It's good to have Christian back, we've all seen how he can affect football matches, so we hope he can do the same again, if selected ... We're confident [Dawson will] be back in the fold in a couple of weeks. There is improvement in Mousa but we'll leave that decision until we know more tomorrow. He'll certainly be a doubt."

Feeling good about the game?
