Sure, Tottenham Hotspur just lost at home to Benfica, surrender three goals at home in European competition for the first time since 1967, but at least no one got hurt. Right? Unfortunately, no. According to Spurs manager Tim Sherwood, both Kyle Walker and Sandro picked up knocks and are now a doubt for this weekend's North London Derby.
Sherwood says Sandro and Walker "doubts for Sunday" #thfc #afc

This doesn't mean that either will definitively miss the game, but having either player at less than 100% against or rivals isn't an appealing thought. Spurs are particularly thin at both the defensive midfield and fullback positions. Kyle Naughton will likely fill in for Walker, but with Danny Rose still at less than 100% the possibility of Zeki Fryers playing significant minutes against Arsenal is terrifying. Nabil Bentaleb will likely be thrust back into the starting lineup if Sandro can't go.
So, there you have it. Our defense sure is going to be fun on Sunday.
