Belgium have released their squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and there aren't any serious surprises. Tottenham Hotspur will have, as expected, three representatives in their team for the World Cup. Jan Vertonghen was always a mortal lock if healthy, but Mousa Dembele had to hold off some competition, while Nacer Chadli seemed like he was slipping to the fringes for a bit.
Thankfully for Chadli, he got a lot of playing time at the end of the season and will have a chance to not just make the trip to Brazil, but play a significant role there. He benefits from not having quite as much competition on the wing as Dembele has in the center -- take a look at Belgium's standby list.

Yep, that's Roma's Radja Nainggolan missing out. Given Dembele's injury issues and average form down the stretch, it would have been perfectly understandable if Dembele was left off the squad by Marc Wilmots. Instead, he'll get a chance to show what he can do in Brazil.
