Tottenham Hotspur continue to rack up the injuries without getting any of their previously injured players healthy. Don't expect to see any of Mousa Dembele, Etienne Capoue or Jan Vertonghen this week against West Ham. Tim Sherwood says that none of them are fit to play yet.
Here are his words from the club website.
"There is no progress with Mousa, he's still struggling with that ankle, it's plagued him this season ... [Capoue and Vertonghen] were okay after [the U-21 game] and have trained this week. They will continue to train and be assessed but this game might come too soon for them ... Kyle is working on his strength in the gym. When you miss that much training with an injury like that around the pelvic area you need to build it up again and he's missed so much now, we're just hoping he could possibly still make the World Cup."
And, of course, Erik Lamela is still out, while Andros Townsend was declared out for the season earlier in the week. It's a pretty thin squad.
This means more time for Paulinho, Aaron Lennon, Kyle Naughton and defenders not named Jan Vertonghen. Sandro wasn't mentioned at all, so obviously he's fit, but we'll see whether or not that matters at all.
