Happy Wednesday, Spursland! Today we say goodbye, as we have done before, to players we hold dear to our hearts, but can no longer afford to play in our team.
Godspeed to you, Mr. Dawson. It seemed like nobody could ever fill our namesake Ledley's shoes when he hung up his boots, but Daws somehow stepped up and did as good a job of it as anyone could have asked. He was our happy warrior. Never perfect, but always killing himself trying to be, he is what all of us, limited frail creatures should strive to be in everything we do.
Go with our love forever, Michael.
And now the "news"
Somehow, even though I claimed him off of waivers like an hour after the last game, I find Chadli on someone else's fantasy team. I shall not forget this slight.
Well it is the Telegraph so nobody call this done and dusted, but it has to be a forgone conclusion at this point.
Come ON. Can I catch one god damn break in fantasy? Help me out guys. Do I drop him and pick someone up or do I have him sit on my bench and plug him back in and hope he comes back strong in like January? I AM GETTING SLAUGHTERED OUT THERE MAN!
Yes indeed, it was stupid for them, and stupider for us because now all of a sudden Liverpool's attack has some teeth to replace the chompers (I kill myself) of Suarez.
These are about as racist as my grandmothers combined (which is saying something), only these apparently have some sort of attempt at an apology in them.
Because anyone is better than what they have, obvi.
Yes, MK Dons, by 4. Let the shame sink in, you Red Devils, which is a phrase used in that way sounds kind of like a racial slur.
