Another one of Tottenham's promising academy prospects is going out on loan to the lower leagues of English football. Young center back Dominic Ball is heading to Cambridge United on a loan until the end of the season.

Ball, 19, has yet to make his debut with the Tottenham first team, but has been a starter in England's U20 side and a regular player in Spurs' U21 development team. He's a promising, but young, defender and this is probably a good move for his development, provided he gets a chance to get regular playing time in League 2. He's heading to a side in Cambridge that is currently mired in the mid-table in League Two. He's also not cup-tied, which means he's eligible to play for Cambridge this weekend against Manchester United.

Here's hoping he gets a good amount of playing time and can continue to improve his game.
