Hello, Spurs land! I'll confess: I hate Mondays. It marks the beginning of the new work week and the end of the weekend, though after a weekend jam packed with all-day swim meets with no wifi coverage, extended weekend hours at work, and sheer exhaustion, I'm actually kind of glad to see this weekend done and dusted. The good news: club football is back this weekend! The bad news: Spurs are the guinea pigs for the expected Klopp Bounce™.
And now, the "news."
Depoitre's agent says he's interested in "Premier League move" | ESPN
Depoitre scored over the weekend for Belgium, which is neat. It sounds like he's a Paul Mitchell-type signing: undervalued, useful, and best of all, cheap rotation for Harry Kane. This is agent-speak so we should be naturally skeptical of it, but this story has shot from #batcountry to could-be-a-thing very quickly.
Jason Burt says in the Telegraph what we've been saying for the past few matches now: this Tottenham team is good (if not great) and it's on an upward trajectory.
Napoli has agreed personal terms for Mousa Dembele | Tuttosport
Also clams it's made a €14m bid for him. Plausible? Yes, if you cock your head, speak in theoretical terms, and squint. But unmistakably still in the realms of #batcountry. Plus, it's Tuttosport, so welp.
Jurgen Klinsmann is a lying liar | SB Nation Soccer
Kevin McCauley drops the mic after the loss to Mexico.

There are some #hot #kit #takes in this article. But the Sash Kit? Number 4. Suck it, haters.
