A Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur news and links October 19, 2015

Just another manic Monday.

Happy Monday, Spursland! I, like you, have been left frustrated by the incongruity of our points tallied considering the level of our performances, week in week out. Know this, though, this type of stuff usually evens out in sport. The season is too long for us to dominate consistently and keep coming away with draws.

Funny memory: using words like "incongruity" used to earn me catcalls of "nice word college boy" in the kitchen where I worked as a line cook during undergrad. Sometimes I yearn for those simplistic days of working the line, working like a dog, and drinking like a fish. The good old days.

Ah, them good old days. Like when Harry scored and we thought the midfield was a problem. Simpler times, those.

And now for the "news":

Blood in blood out. Belgians look out for each other.

Tactics of Aston Villa's loss to Chelsea| 7500 to Holte

It had to be expressed clearly in the headline that it wasn't Sherwood's fault this time (according to the writer). That is Honest Tim's legacy, really. People assuming he screwed the pooch tactically.
