Three days after a draw against Monaco in the group stage of the Europa League, Tottenham Hotspur head to Wales to take on Swansea City in Premier League action. But they'll need to do it without one of their most exciting talents, Son Heung-Min, who is out of action for the next 4-6 weeks with a foot injury.
Sonny is one of five Spurs midfielders still recovering from injury and who will not be making the trip to Wales, along with Mousa Dembele, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, and Alex Pritchard. In addition, left back Danny Rose is listed as a doubt after gashing his finger during Spurs' 1-1 draw at Monaco on Thursday.
Losing Sonny is a blow for Tottenham's offense, but Nacer Chadli is expected to slot back into the starting lineup alongside Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela. With Bentaleb and Mason both out, it's very likely Mauricio Pochettino will again start 19-year old nascent England midfielder Dele Alli alongside Eric Dier in the pivot.
For Swansea, they have no major injuries of note and will play their best 11, which will include former Spur Gylfi Sigurdsson and new signing Andre Ayeo behind striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
Spurs have won their last three league matches and are undefeated since an opening day loss to Manchester City at Old Trafford.
