Happy Thursday, Spursland!
Yes, the international break is still going strong, and I wish that we could beat that death drum a little quicker to be honest. Over the course of these last few weeks I've come to understand just how much I hate international football, and I find it weird. How can I care so much about club football, but care so little about international? Shouldn't I theoretically be enthused by all types?
I know some of you feel the same way. Please try to articulate what I cannot.
Here's to hoping the next 10 days pass quickly.
And now for the "news":
Tottenham hit out against Inter amid Vertonghen interest| Daily Star
Inter are like the pathetic high school prom king who goes to the reunion and doesn't realize he isn't cool anymore. Jan and Spurs are big time now. You don't even go here.
A little longer look at Dele Alli| Daily Mail
I'll stop saying nasty things about the Mail for the rest of the week because they have paid tribute to the one true savior with an interest story.
Can Fiorentina win Serie A this year?| SB Nation Soccer
That would be fun, I guess. I like how Serie A is the new pants off crazy league in Europe, very France 2009-2013.
