Did you know that the international break isn't just a ploy by FIFA to bore everyone to death? International teams actually play matches during this time. Son Heung-Min is currently with the South Korea National Team helping his country attempt to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

The AFC (Asian Football Confederation) is currently in the second stage of its qualifying process with 40 teams still fighting it out for 4.5 World Cup spots.

Son's South Korea side are running away with the lead in their respective group during this stage, and their 5-0 win over Laos today did nothing but cement them atop the standings. The Tottenham Hotspur forward scored twice today in the five-goal thrashing.

The first goal saw Son arrive late in the box to finish off a nice header:

On his second tally, Son held up his run near the six-yard box, waited for a knock down header, collected the ball with his first touch and struck a left-footed finish past the goalkeeper.
