Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Aston Villa: Community Player Ratings

Well, that was kind of terrifying.

I haven't watched this match yet. Mostly I spent my afternoon working and intermittently listening to the TalkSport commentators moaning about how truly awful Aston Villa are. Then, for the last 20 minutes, apparently, a football match broke out. Villa made it super nervy for Spurs, but in the end Tottenham managed to put them away. I'll take the blame for the Villa goal because I started drafting this post and made fun of Villa for being bad. That was obviously all the karma the Villains needed to start their comeback.

Regardless, a win is a win and this one keeps pressure on the big boys at the top of the table. Also, the two goal margin is good for goal difference.

You should probably know how this works by now, but just as a refresher, here's the scale once again:

  • 10: World Class or Amazing
  • 9: Very good
  • 8: Good
  • 7: Above Average
  • 6: Average
  • 5: Below Average
  • 4: Bad
  • 3: Very bad
  • 2: Abysmal
  • 1: I don't know what this would look like. A six year-old playing against adults?

Now that all the technicalities are out of the way, it's time to do the actual rating.
