Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 West Ham: Community Player Ratings

That performance was good.

I don't know what to say anymore. Tottenham Hotspur, despite my best attempts to rationalize it all away, continue to be good. Maybe not even just good. We might be getting close to very good territory. This is a match that felt very much under control for Spurs. A better team might have made Tottenham pay for some bad giveaways and aimless longballs in the opening quarter of an hour, but that team was never going to be West Ham. The only down about this game is that we lost Dele Alli for Chelsea and we won't get to see him sneering at John Terry, Cesc Fabregas, and Diego Costa.

Anyways, let's do this whole ratings thing. You should probably know how this works by now, but just as a refresher, here's the scale once again:

  • 10: World Class or Amazing
  • 9: Very good
  • 8: Good
  • 7: Above Average
  • 6: Average
  • 5: Below Average
  • 4: Bad
  • 3: Very bad
  • 2: Abysmal
  • 1: I don't know what this would look like. A six year-old playing against adults?

Now that all the technicalities are out of the way, it's time to do the actual rating.
