Happy Friday, Spursland!
We've qualified for the knockouts of Europa with a game to spare! No matter how much stick Mauricio Pochettino may take over his relatively unrotated sides in the coming week, remember that.
And keep in mind we've seen him rotate heavily and get questioned, just as we've seen him not rotate heavily and get questioned. It's almost as if the legions of pundits, and would be pundits on Twitter, need to be just a little unhappy all the time.
He's a good manager doing a human's job, meaning mistakes are inherent. We would do well to enjoy this run of form, and hey, maybe we get to see the kids get a runout against Monaco in a real game that has no real pressure and is a bit friendlier at the Lane.
And now for the "news":
He's one of us now; move on with your lives, losers.
Seriously though, I know Stevie G has never slipped up in his career, or fallen down on the job, but something in the air tonight makes me think one day he'll understand that the Liverpool people just made a mistake.
It's almost like the Sky Blues and their fans really, really love this guy.
If we wouldn't sell Modric to Chelsea for less than a king's ransom, I can't imagine the markup on Harry. I also can't believe I'm linking to this, but here we have it.
Looked a bit more like the Clairefontaine product we all knew we were getting when we bought him this summer. Like the head down attitude, too. He'll fit in in England, yet, mark my words.
Look, America has thoughtful people, too!
