Tottenham Hotspur will be without 19-year old nascent midfield star Dele Alli due to suspension on Sunday when they take on Chelsea in the Premier League, but Spurs are buoyed by news that Argentinian attacker Erik Lamela is back in contention to play.
TEAM NEWS for Chelsea: @Coco_Lamela back in contention. @Dele_Alli suspended. @NChadli, @nabilbentaleb42 & @pritch_93 remain out. #COYS

Lamela picked up a knock while on international duty with Argentina two weeks ago and missed Spurs' win over West Ham and the midweek trip to Qarabag. Having Lamela back is obviously good news, but "back in contention" doesn't necessarily mean "match fit." Lamela might slot straight back into the starting lineup, or he could start off on the bench. If Lamela isn't ready to go, it seems likely that Ryan Mason would be back into the lineup in some form or another, possibly at the #10.
As for Chelsea, John Terry and Ramires are both severe doubts, and will almost certainly miss the match along with starting keeper Thibaut Courtois and Radamel Falcao.
