Tottenham Hotspur traveled the three miles to the Emirates Stadium in the 177th North London Derby and came out with a 1-1 draw against their arch-rivals Arsenal on Sunday. A remarkably even match, both teams had opportunities to score and to win the match, but a draw as the fair result.

Harry Kane opened the scoring in the first half with a strike past Gunners keeper Petr Cech after a wonderful long ball from left back Danny Rose. Arsenal equalized after Mesut Özil put a pinpoint cross onto the foot of substitute Kieran Gibbs. Arsenal kept the pressure on Spurs and nearly snatched the win in the last 20 minutes, but Spurs were able to hold on and preserve the draw.
