Thursday is here. Now what?

Happy Thursday, Spursland!

In case you didn't notice I am super excited for our Spurs to take the pitch toni....what's that? Dammit. If there is one thing I hate more than playing on a Thursday, it's not playing midweek at all. Seriously, how am I supposed to cope with the mundane drone of modern life without the pulsating soundtrack of Europa League group play football as my guide?

Poorly, that's how.

Well, in an effort to fight off these non-Europa having blues, I'm going to listen to this for a while, a song I maintain as my favorite from the long list of FIFA (video game franchise) soundtracks. Something about this song just works.

So now that your ears are properly treated I'll ask a question I posed in the writer's chat a while ago and sparked an interesting conversation: what FIFA soundtrack song you got, and why?

I look forward to not reading your responses.

And now for the "news":

Andros is linked with Aston Villa| Birmingham Mail

The amount of money they assume he will fetch brought warmth to my barren soul.

Tottenham rumor roundup from one of our favorite rags| Daily Mail

Despite producing some nice pieces about Dele Alli, our savior, in recent months the Daily Mail still will push out as much transfer tripe as anyone. This doesn't bother me, though. It's oddly reassuring, like eating a home cooked meal, only it's reading, and a crap transfer rumor. Come to think of it I may need a better metaphor.

Gross person says we only have to fear Liverpool this year| Squawka

I want him to be right, but intrinsically am programmed to dislike whatever he says so my brain is literally at war with itself right now.

Poyet: Spurs will finish above this rival| Express

Way to go out on a limb there, Gus.

Justin Bieber was baptized, just not where you'd think| SB Nation Lookit

I know that doesn't seem that interesting, but it is. It really, really is.
