Spurs' on-loan youngster Oduwa scores his first goal for Rangers

It wasn't a rainbow flick, but it's a goal!

Tottenham Hotspur's young midfielder Nathan Oduwa is having a pretty good season on loan at Rangers. A mainstay in the starting lineup at Ibrox, he's done pretty much everything, including embarrass the entirety of the Scottish second division, except score. Well, check that one off the bucket list. Oduwa bagged his first of the season as Gers scored four second half goals in a 4-0 home drubbing of Dumbarton yesterday.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton admitted that Oduwa has the chance to develop into a very good player if he can continue to learn from his experiences this season while at Ibrox:

"Nathan is a young player, he may be 6'2 but you have to remember he is 19 and they have to learn.

"They have to learn to deal with success, disappointment and it is all part of your development as a player and your character building.

"He came on and scored the goal so I am pleased for him, he has a lot of work to do but everyone in that team has to earn the shirt and if he does that then we will have a very good player on our hands.

Rangers are still top of the table in the Scottish Championship, three points ahead of second place Hibernian. They have only lost once this season as they try and return to the top tier of Scottish football after going into administration in 2012.
