Southampton 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur: Community Player Ratings

A win on the South Coast pushes Spurs into fourth.

A solid win over a fairly good Southampton team combined with yet another poor performance from Manchester United propelled Tottenham Hotspur into the top four at Christmas time. This is probably exactly where many Spurs fans had thought we would be at the beginning of the season, but who would have expected us to be looking up at Leicester City. That draw Spurs secured at the King Power Stadium is looking better every week.

You should probably know how this works by now, but just as a refresher, here's the scale once again:

  • 10: World Class or Amazing
  • 9: Very good
  • 8: Good
  • 7: Above Average
  • 6: Average
  • 5: Below Average
  • 4: Bad
  • 3: Very bad
  • 2: Abysmal
  • 1: I don't know what this would look like. A six year-old playing against adults?

Now that all the technicalities are out of the way, it's time to do the actual rating.
