Spurs continued their excellent holiday form with another three points on the road against Watford. The win, vaulted Spurs into third place, only four points off the league leaders Arsenal (with Leicester City still yet to play). The match marked the halfway point in the season and leaves Spurs in great position for the second half of their premier league schedule.

As to the match itself, there was, unsurprisingly, very little rotation by manager Mauricio Pochettino. With a string of tough matches coming up, one has to wonder where, if at all, the Argentine will rest key members of his squad. That said, there weren't many signs of tired legs for Spurs and the team managed to snatch a late winner.

You should probably know how this works by now, but just as a refresher, here's the scale once again:

  • 10: World Class or Amazing
  • 9: Very good
  • 8: Good
  • 7: Above Average
  • 6: Average
  • 5: Below Average
  • 4: Bad
  • 3: Very bad
  • 2: Abysmal
  • 1: I don't know what this would look like. A six year-old playing against adults?

Now that all the technicalities are out of the way, it's time to do the actual rating.
