FA Cup 2015 draw results: Tottenham Hotspur to host Leicester City in third round

Spurs will play Leicester two times in four days. Wheeeeeeeeee.

The draw for the Third Round of the FA Cup was held today, and not only did Spurs fail to get an easy draw, they're playing the current league leaders. Spurs drew a home match against Leicester City, the team that knocked them out of the FA Cup last season. The teams will play on either Saturday, January 9 or Sunday, January 10 (TBD).

This is, to put it mildly, a terrible draw for the Third Round. This is the round where you hope you draw some comfortably lower league side where you can rotate your squad and play the kids. Maybe not this time. Leicester are flying high, currently atop the EPL table, and have one of the best offenses in the league.

Even crazier, for Spurs this will mean back to back matches against the Foxes: Spurs host Leicester in the league just four days later on January 13. Who knows what this means for the FA Cup lineups. It's quite possible that both teams will put up strong squads in both matches.

Magic of the Cup, innit?
