Every now and then people ask me why I refuse to watch Italian football. I could go on about how there is so much evidence that it is fixed or at least a large percentage of games have predetermined outcomes, but mostly I think it is a weaker product than the EPL or the Bundesliga. And if you need any evidence of that apparently one, admittedly a very very big team struggling is enough to drag down an entire league. That's a weak product and I won't be watching. There is a reason nobody is paying £5 billion for your TV rights.
