Harry Kane was named Barclay's Premier League Player of the Month for January, 2015, capping off an extraordinary month for the young Tottenham Hotspur striker. The announcement was made via Tottenham's official twitter account as well as on the Premier League website.

Kane has been in scintillating form for Tottenham, scoring 23 goals in all competitions despite not locking down a starting role for Spurs until midway through the season. He scored five EPL goals and eight goals in all competitions during the month of January, tied with Lionel Messi as top goal scorer in all the major European leagues..
Kane has gone from a youth player to one of the hottest commodities in the Premier League, tipped for a sure-fire England call-up by Roy Hodgson and tracked by the likes of Real Madrid. It's a real feather in his cap, and a deserved award.
The last Tottenham Hotspur players to win Premier League Player of the Month were Gareth Bale and Jan Vertonghen in February and March of 2013, respectively.
