Normally, I'm opposed to reporting on anything that happens over on the red side of North London, but when news is happening in the build-up to the North London Derby, it's hard to ignore it. Arsenal have released their team news ahead of Saturday's match and there is some good news in there for Tottenham Hotspur fans. Most notably, Alexis Sanchez is still not fully recovered from his hamstring injury and will not be able to take part in the derby match.
Also missing out for Arsenal are Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. It's no surprise that Wilshere is missing out, as everyone knows that smoking hookah slows the healing of ankle injuries. Ox absolutely crushed Tottenham's left flank earlier in the season, so him missing out could also be big for Tottenham. The news isn't all good for Spurs though as Danny Welbeck is back in the frame and available for selection and, as we saw last weekend, Theo Walcott seems to be back to full-strength.
Alexis barely featured in this season's first North London Derby, but when he came on he did cause Spurs problems. As exciting as Alexis is to watch, I'm ecstatic that he won't be taking the field at White Hart Lane this weekend, because it gives Spurs one less dangerous player to worry about.
