Happy Tuesday Spursland! So (sighs) today is the day. The day when the last people on earth who haven't heard about Harry Kane will finally lift up that rock they have been living under and find out about him for themselves.  And I will go so far as to say that in years time say 12-18 months at the outside when the Harry Kane to (insert super huge club) rumors start to really take off the real media hype train for this transfer will start with the stories posted tomorrow about today's game.

And now the "news"

Rooney Looking Forward To Partnering With Kane-Sky Sports

However showing that he is truly the "too cool for the room guy" and won't learn the new guy's name, Rooney refered to Kane as "someone good for once" before the PR people cleaned it up. Allegedly.

THE USWNT Has A Diversity Problem-The Bent Musket

Look the best team should play and it shouldn't matter if they are all one color, but this is indicative of a poor youth system for the country.  Everyone should be able to play youth sports whether they can afford to or not: it builds better people and a better over all society, and healthier children.  It also means we won't miss out on any killer athletes that could improve our national team just because they grew up in inner city Detroit.

Seattke Reign Trade Leroux For Wambach And Brooks-Sounder At Heart

At first glance this sounds crazy, but it's actually a pretty solid deal with both teams gambling a bit. Western New York betting letting Wambach go doesn't bite them in the ass if she comes back and Seattle betting they can coax her into playing club ball again.  It's a cool ass trade.
