Just weeks after a Spurs duo were honored for their outstanding 2014-15 play, another Tottenham standout finds himself on the receiving end of high praise -- and a fancy new upgraded FIFA 15 in-game player to show for it.
Following a goal and a clean sheet in Spurs' 2-0 victory over Hull City, Tottenham left back Danny Rose has been named to EA Sports' FIFA 15's Team of the Week. While an honor in and of itself, Rose gets a newly minted special card in the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, the popular video game's most played mode, for his troubles.
While landing a fleet-of-foot silver inform (as the special cards are called) player would've been a challenge in recent weeks prior, due to the surprise inaugural release of FIFA 15's biggest annual event, Team of the Season, the upgraded Rose is more attainable than ever.
Whether you pack him in one of the special Team of the Season Premium Silver (or Gold or Bronze) packs or you trade your way to the virtual currency necessary to buy him on the transfer market (no more than 110,000 coins on Xbox 360/One and 150,000 on PS3/PS4 at time of publish), the upgraded Rose card is a must have for Spurs (and FUT) fans.
But don't think this is the last we'll see of Tottenham special cards in the game.
With the aforementioned Team of the Season in full effect, be on the look for an elite Harry Kane card and the best Christian Eriksen release we've seen to date next Wednesday, 27 May as well as a possible Dele Alli one Friday, 29 May.
