The curtain is about to come down on the 2014-15 Barclay's Premier League season, as we have reached the final weekend. I can't help but think I've been waiting for this moment for months. There's not much left to play for this weekend, except where we come into the Europa League. One fun thing is that if Liverpool lose and Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton win and Aston Villa win the FA Cup, then Liverpool would start in the first qualifying round of the Europa League on July 2nd. Let's all hope for that, just for the lolz.
With respect to this particular fixture in Everton, there's not much to say. At the beginning of the season, both sets of fans probably looked at this match on the season's final day and thought that it might have been a battle between the teams for fourth place. Unfortunately, both squads suffered under the rigors of the Europa League, Everton clearly more so, and now both are somewhat limping home.

Team news
Michel Vorm is out with an illness, which means Brad Friedel might have a role to play in his final game as a professional. Emmanuel Adebayor is back in Togo on compassionate leave and Kyle Walker and Ben Davies are both out for the season with injuries. For Everton, expect the same squad from last week, though manager Roberto Martinez has said he could hand a curtain call to Sylvain Distin.
Projected Tottenham lineup
Team news is out from the club and the only real change is that Michel Vorm is set to miss the match due to illness. This means that the soon to be retired Brad Friedel could have some sort of role to play in his final professional match. Otherwise, expect pretty much the same lineup Pochettino has played since March to be trotted out. God forbid we do anything different like play DeAndre Yedlin or Benji Stambouli.
