Happy...what day is it again? Friday? Happy Friday, Spursland. Hope you are doing well today, and why wouldn't you be. The season is only one week away and it turns out we solved our midfield problems in the transfer window with young, English talent. We just didn't know that we solved them last summer with Eric Dier and last winter with Dele Alli.
Seriously, what haven't we seen Dier do on the pitch? I'm waiting for the Hugo Lloris saga next year to be less painful when our young, Portuguese speaking bombshell emerges from the White Hart Lane tunnel with a pair of keeping gloves and the number one shirt.
As for the Hoddle itself, there is a long tradition here at Carty Free Captain of providing a community Hoddle space when there is no series of links and cheerleader jokes written.
