Tottenham Hotspur's 2015-16 alternate third jersey has been leaked by Footy Headlines, and it looks like the club is returning to a purple change kit for next season.
The home kit was released at the end of last season, and we've seen some (unconfirmed) reports that the variegated sash motif will reappear in the blue away kit next season. This is the first we've seen of the long-rumored purple third kit, and it's GORGEOUS.
Spurs last wore a purple kit in 2011-12 and, at least on this site, it is still warmly regarded as "the Spurple kit." The purple color is similar to the color of the training gear that Tottenham players have been wearing all week during preseason training. It's a plain looking, simple kit, but the sash motif comes back in the piping around the sleeves and the bottom side paneling. The sponsor logo is in an understated white, which is awesome.
BRB, going to pre-order about ten of these.
