The four-year deal is said to be Watford's club record transfer fee. The actual price was not disclosed but earlier reports indicated a suggested fee of €9m. Capoue will waltz directly into Watford's starting lineup and is really a fantastic get for the HornetMoose as they seek to upgrade their team heading into the Premier League season. Capoue may not have made it at Spurs, but he'll be very good for a club like Watford. The EPL is a meat-grinder, but Watford are doing their best under new coach Quique Sanchez Flores to try and stay up.
There are still rumors in place that Watford is also trying to sign fellow French midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.
