Spurs' 19 year-old winger Nathan Oduwa won rave reviews for his standout performances during the behind closed doors portion of preseason, prompting many to wonder if he would feature in Pochettino's Europa League squad this season. Alas, it was not meant to be and he instead went off on loan to Rangers in Scotland's second division.
Today he came off the bench to make his Rangers debut, and he immediately wrecked all of Scotland. Watch him completely shred this Scottish pub team's back line as he set up Rangers' fifth goal of the game:
The fifth. The icing on the cake. Superb wingplay from Oduwa, all finished off by Miller. pic.twitter.com/FGHREwN7xU

And another dangerous run where he decided it would be unfair to score so he just won a corner instead:

At which point he realized he was way too good for this league, and did a rainbow flick over a defender during an actual football match:

Do a search on Twitter for "Oduwa" and you will be overwhelmed by Rangers fans gushing about this kid and begging for a permanent transfer.
Now admittedly, it's the Scottish second division, which is basically the footballing equivalent of a Sunday pub league. But Oduwa's only 19, and spending the year gaining confidence under a good coach while mercilessly destroying anyone who stands in his path is a great step for his development. If he keeps this up, a slot in Spurs' next season's cup adventures looks assured.
