Our first piece of team news is out ahead of Saturday's trip to Leicester City and it's bad news if you're an Andros Townsend fan. Tottenham's young winger has been ruled out of contention for the match-day squad with an ankle injury.

Now, put on your tinfoil hat since depending on what you want to believe, either Andros has been extremely unlucky in the first part of the season, or this is an indication he's likely to be sold before the end of the month. This is the second niggling injury Andros has gone through since the season started; a shoulder injury picked up in a pre-season match reportedly kept him out of the first two matches, and he now has an ankle knock that rules him out for this weekend.
Both Newcastle United and Sunderland have been keeping tabs on Andros, and it's not out of the question that the arrival of Clinton N'Jie and possible addition of Saido Berahino could force Townsend to the margins of the side. As a home-grown player he should have plenty of suitors in the lower half of the Premier League and Spurs can probably command a pretty good fee for him. If either Toon or Sunderland are serious about making a bid for Andros, then it would make sense to find a reason to keep him out of league matches for now.
Or maybe he's really just injured. Who knows.
