Emmanuel Adebayor's loan to West Ham could be back on

The out-of-favor striker could be headed to the Hammers

Once again it looks as if Tottenham Hotspur's out-of-favor striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be on his way to West Ham United on a season-long loan. Talks were rekindled this past weekend after initial discussions broke down last week.

Spurs have been trying to offload the 31-year-old to seemingly anyone willing to take him and his £100,000-a-week wages.

It turns out that the club is so desperate to find him a new club for the last year of his contract that they are willing to pay some of that hefty sum. According to the Mirror, Tottenham are willing to chip in to cover some of the player's wages.

West Ham are actively seeking help in the their attack, and seem the best possible solution to the Adebayor saga. It was thought that a loan to Aston Villa had been agreed to weeks ago, but Adebayor reportedly rejected the move because he favors the Hammers instead.

Staying in London is apparently a huge deal for Ade. This move would allow him that and put him into a side that will likely require him to play significant minutes. Hopefully all three sides can come to an agreement soon and this saga can be resolved.
