Spurs will face Arsenal in third round of Capital One Cup.

Bring on the Scum.

With one week to go in the transfer window, much of our focus has been on the rumors surrounding our targets and current players, so it's easy to forget that the Capital One Cup had matches taking place today. All of those matches in the second round have wrapped up and the draw for the third round has already taken place. The club announced that it will be a North London Derby as Arsenal will be our opponents.

The good news for this is that the match will played in the friendly confines of White Hart Lane during the week of September 21. This will give the club around three weeks to get any new signings settled into place. Spurs and Arsenal weren't scheduled to meet in league play until November, so for those who want to take on our rivals earlier have received their wish.

Ticket information will be available on the club's primary site here shortly, so if you're a resident of the UK and want to catch the match, I would advise heading there for any information in purchasing tickets.
