The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur news and links for Monday, August 3

Links all up in your news.

Good day to you, Hoddlers. It's Monday, and the Premier League season starts this weekend! Which is exciting under most circumstances, but maybe not as much this week. First we have to get through two meaningless friendlies, one against our old friend Welsh Jesus in Munich. Did I mention that we still don't have a good option in central midfield, and if Soldado and Adebayor go we have essentially Harry Kane and a youth striker?

But it's not all bad, since it does mean we'll be able to watch Spurs play this week a lot. Unfortunately the friendlies are set during the workday which makes it very difficult for any of us in USA with real jobs to be able to watch.

At any rate, the Hoddle is late so I'll just throw a couple of links up to get you started this morning. The rest is up to you. It's a quasi-community Hoddle. Enjoy.
