Another defender is departing Tottenham Hotspur. 23-year old central defender Grant Hall has signed a two-year dealwith Championship club Queens Park Rangers after successfully completing a trial with the club.

A graduate of the Brighton academy, Hall was once a promising prospect for Tottenham, having joined the club in 2012. He was the captain of Spurs' U21 Premier League team once upon a time, and we even ranked him at #14 in our prospect ratings back in 2013. However, he ended up simply not having the quality to break through into the first team and at age 23 he's unlikely at this point to do so.
In recent years Hall has had loans at Blackpool, Birmingham City, and Swindon. At QPR he'll be meeting up with former Hotspurs Massimo Luongo and Sandro, along with former Spurs assistant manager Chris Ramsay, now manager of the London club.
