Sunday Football Open Thread

You know what they say, "Better late than never." Anyways, a few of Europe's top leagues have kicked off their seasons and there is plenty of football on today. Right now Arsenal are taking on West Ham (and losing) and Southampton are at Newcastle. Later this morning, we can check in on Liverpool as their raft of new signings take on Stoke-celona.

If you, like me, are interested in French football, then there are a couple of fun matches in Ligue 1 matches. The afternoon match today is Olympique Lyonnais and FC Lorient. Spurs have been linked with a couple of Lyon players this summer, so if you want a chance to see some of them in action today might be your chance. Unless, of course, you want to see Clinton N'jie. He won't be playing as he's only just started running after picking up an injury early in the preseason.
