Tottenham Hotspur finally got a victory in the Premier League as they traveld to the Northeast and beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. It was a bit closer than I think anyone would have preferred, but three points are three points.
The match was notable in that it saw the debut of new signing Son Heung-Min. The South Korean attacker played just over an hour and generally looked alright in his first real action with the squad. We also saw Andros Townsend make his first appearance of the season.
