The Son has risen at White Hart Lane! The first half of Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League match against Qarabag has proven to be anything but uneventful. First, Qarabag drew first blood on a seventh minute penalty after Kieran Trippier hauled down a Horseman in the box. The men from the LAND OF FIRE have gone straight after Tottenham in the first half, refusing to back down and it's made for a very open match.
But then Son Heung-Min stepped up. First the equalizer. CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SON!
And then just minutes later, the go-ahead goal.
Cool as you like, both goals. Something tells me we haven't seen the last of this Son guy.
The action has been fast and frantic in the opening half with both teams getting chances to add to the goal tally, but the first half just finished with Spurs up 2-1. If the second half is anything like the first, there are going to be more goals.
