Just minutes after the final whistle sounded and declared Arsenal the winner of Tottenham Hotspur in their North London Derby at White Hart Lane, Gunner fans were exuberant.
Maybe too exuberant.
Arsenal fans celebrated their victory by fighting with White Hart Lane stewards and ripping off the signage from the upper decks. Photographs of this behavior was immediately posted on Twitter.

I've been a Spurs fan since 2007, and I've seen my fair share of animosity before, during, and after North London Derbies over the years, but I can honestly say I have never seen such deplorable actions by visiting fans after a win. I should be clear in noting that the actions of these idiots in no way is reflective of Arsenal fans as a whole, and that this was probably a few drunken idiots, but this was absolutely deplorable behavior and should not be tolerated.
No word yet on whether any of the fans photographed have been arrested or whether further action will be taken to discover the identities of these hooligans. I hope they do, though. This is exceptionally poor behavior from fans of any club and I hope they are found by authorities and dealt with severely.
UPDATE: There's video, too. Hope it was worth it.
