Happy post-Magic Manic Monday, Spursland!
Well, moderately happy, anyway. While it was an exhilarating way to force a replay, it sure would've been nice to cut Leicester City to pieces, given how deeply they defended, not to mention our early goal. In the end the draw forces a replay, which is usually very bad; but when the team we are facing is actually ahead of us in the table and sporting significantly less squad depth, it isn't nearly as annoying a proposition.
Also, because I'm looking for silver linings, we'll get to see Josh Onomah play more! He's really a fun player and incredible to think he is only 18.
So in a season of new attitude I'm going to go with it: bring on the replay. Bring on all the fixtures. We've got this.
And now for the "news":
It would make me very happy if the do or don't sign him based on Harry Redknapp's hand written notes from his various Gallic scouting trips in 2011.
Carrick I dealt with. Berbatov made me angry. If they take Mauricio, I'll take a torch to Old Trafford, so help me.
This goes along with my theory that players don't punt games. They want to win every game because that's how they are wired.
I'll only accept this analysis if he gives it while doing the robot in close proximity to Jonathan Woodgate.
And that angel came in the form of a hurtling basketball.
