Terrible taste Tuesday

Clive Rose/Getty Images

Happy Tuesday, Spursland!

With the boys in Barcelona for a bit of training and team bonding, it's natural to also go out on the town a bit, get a feel for the city. And what appears when the boys are out on the town? Photos opportunities, that's what. We've had everything from this picture of the untamed youth...

To a bit of team bonding...

To chance encounters in the street.

Hopefully, the trip is relaxing and get's them into a good frame of mind for the upcoming month which is shaping up to be just as busy as the last.

But this is Terrible taste Tuesday; it's not all good feels. I feel like we need to sartorially dissect the choice of clothes in these pictures. I'll give Dele the benefit of the doubt as he is dressed exactly like a 19 year old should be, but what is going on with Michel Vorm? I can't decide if he should be commended for his style, or if he's only just discovered the video catalogue of Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 and is trying way, way too hard.

Because I'm undecided on ol' Buttons outfit, I turn to you, dear reader: is it crap, a bit of terrible taste, or is it actually good? Michel Vorm's fashion credibility hangs in the balance.

And now for the "news":

Spurs keen on Wanyama again| The Sun

Then they say that it hinges on Andros Townsend going the other way as part of a swap. This is where I say you should probably never trust Spurs rumors from The Sun.

Grant Ward interested in extending his Rotherham United loan| Sheffield Star

The loan system is something that definitely could be cleaned up, regarding time periods and transparency of club intention. Ward's quotes show maturity, but it cannot be fun for him to be living these last couple weeks in limbo.

Spurs interested in Yilmaz| London Evening Standard

Amidst interest from West Ham United, it is reported that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of Burak Yilmaz. Yes, that Burak Yilmaz. Seriously, what is this, 2012?

Speaking of Spurs and West Ham United...| BBC

I highly doubt we'll spend our seasons adrift at the Olympic Stadium, but it is ever so nice to see the London Legacy Development Corp. tell West Ham to sit down and shut up, they're not in charge around here.

Shearer: 'Dele Alli reminds me of Hoddle'| The Sun

This is not a rumor so read away. Also, the former Newcastle front man compares Alli to the namesake of this daily feature, so he gets a plug.

Edmonton Oiler use rainbow tape to show support for LGBTQ athletes| SB Nation Hockey

Don't think I've ever seen a combined demonstration like this for anything but supporting the troops or breast cancer in North American sports. Very cool that they branched out to other causes.
