Tottenham Hotspur held on to a scrappy draw in Germany tonight, keeping them in contention to advance from their group into the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The match was a tale of two halves, as Tottenham looked the better side in the first half, but only really managed to test Bayer Leverkusen’s keeper during one move. The second half, however, turned the other way as Roger Schmidt made a smart substitution and managed to get his team to control the midfield a little better.
All in all, Spurs should be happy with a draw, especially considering Leverkusen’s second half dominance. However, the important questions is, how happy are you with each player’s individual performance?
