Only Dele Alli can invent new ways to nutmeg opponents

The Nutmeg King is back

If you didn’t know by now, Dele Alli is the Nutmeg King. He can panna an opponent or a teammate, in a game, in training, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s done it in his sleep. It’s just a natural skill he possesses.

Against Bayer Leverkusen last night he found a brand new way to put the ball through midfielder Lars Bender’s legs — by not even touching the ball. That’s right, Dele Alli may have pulled of the world’s first no-touch nutmeg (it’s probably happened before, but just go with it).

With a pass coming his way, Dele got the inclination to dummy it to his teammate, Heung-Min Son. However there was a problem. A defender happened to be in the way.

Noticing this at the last minute, the mighty and powerful Nutmeg King used his telekinesis powers to manuever the ball through Bender’s legs to allow safe passage for the pass to a friendly face.

Yet another astonishing tale in the Nutmeg King’s journeys. Stay tuned for the next chapter.
