AFC Bournemouth 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur: Community Player Ratings

Not winning is still better than losing.

Tottenham Hotspur’s unbeaten run continues, I guess. I thought I wouldn’t get tired of writing that, but two somewhat disappointing draws in a row have made that sentence a lot less fun to write. If you had told me a month ago that out of these three league games in October we’d come away with five points, I’d have probably been okay with it. I would not, however, have expected the only win to have come against Manchester City.

As doom and gloom as that first paragraph makes things sound, Spurs are still only one point out of first and have a comparable goal difference to the rest of the top teams. The main difference, at this point, is that the other top sides are scoring more goals than Spurs. Tottenham have the joint fifth best attack in the league (to go along with their league-leading defense), but Spurs are going to have to find more goals to turn draws into wins.

Anyway, the performance against Bournemouth was pretty drab, I guess. So, rate away. Here’s how the ratings work:

  1. I don't even know how to describe this level of bad.
  2. Abysmal
  3. Very bad
  4. Bad
  5. Below Average
  6. Average
  7. Above Average
  8. Good
  9. Very good
  10. World Class or Amazing
