England just went up two goals to nil over Scotland in their World Cup Qualifying match at Wembley Stadium, courtesy of Liverpool’s Adam Lallana’s head. But it was Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose who got the assist with a lovely little lofted cross from the left side of the box.
Have a look!
So, let’s see: that’s two England goals from two crosses from two different Tottenham Hotspur fullbacks to two different Liverpool players’ heads. Two two two two two ah ah ahhhhh! [thunder]
Also, that’s another very very nice cross and another very very nice header. England are looking pretty good now.
England are up comfortably on Scotland, so clearly it’s time for Gareth Southgate to pull Walker and Rose and make sure they aren’t added to the list of Spurs’ injuries, which already includes Mousa Dembele, Vincent Janssen, Dele Alli, Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld, Son Heung-Min, and Ben Davies.
