Bad news: We have three more days till the West Ham game.

More bad news: We’re beat up as hell right now, y’all.

Good news: Spurs are back Spurs are back Spurs are back.

More good news: Unless Dimi Payet does Dimi Payet things, West Ham is bad.

Despite that good news, I’m still kind of terrified about this weekend’s game for two simple reasons: a) We’re playing Dimitri Payet. b) I have no idea what our front four is. Vincent Janssen, Heung-Min Son, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, and Dele Alli are all on that injured list Dustin blogged yesterday. Even assuming, as seems likely, that Son and Eriksen are fit to start, unless Lamela is also fit, we’re looking at having at least one significantly weaker player in that front four. It will likely be Mousa Sissoko, but it could also be Josh Onomah or Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. (GKN would be my pick, personally.)

With Payet involved for West Ham it seems dumb to think a 1-0 win is going to be likely for us. We’ll likely need two if we’re going to win. But with the way we’re playing right now, where are we getting two goals? Thoughts? Anyone want to try to cheer me up?
